WOW…August 15th and we are still into full blown summer here in Alberta! To the rest of the country that may seem silly, but we really don’t get long lasting heat and I think we are heading into week 5! Sadly this week Ontario is getting what we might expect…they are almost into single digits! I am confident they will come out of their weather slump shortly!
Today we visit Sandra Dower’s creative space. It is bright and clean and I suspect cool in the summer. Due to the window size, I would guess her craft room is in the basement.
I am a bit envious, my craft rom is upstairs in a spare bedroom and for most of the summer it has been like a sauna…it does not inspire a lot of creativity when it feels like that!
Sandra shares some brief words about her space:
I just moved into my newly updated scrapbook room. I LOVE the space. I am adding more shelves for storage and am always looking for new storage ideas.
The room is freshly painted and I picked the blue color for my accent colors.
I also found the table which makes a great work area.
Thanks Sandra for giving us a glimpse into your space. It’s lovely and so well organized!

Great space my craft area is a work in progress love seeing how others organize their spots.
love your craafting space
Love so much youy space!!!
Excellent organisation! However the mish mash of different organisation systems does not detract from a cluttered feel. Is there something you can do to have uniform drawers or cabinets instead of it feeling like a work in progress?
Thanks for your opinions. I love my space and it is very organized so that I can find things very easily. I have reused items from over the years and continue to find neat items for storage. It doesn’t all match but I think it doesn’t need to be uniform drawers or cabinets to not feel like always a work in progress. The work in progress are my projects.
