I’m late, I’m late for a very important date! Sorry today’s WHERE YOU CREATE is late! I left things to the last minute this week and when I sat to work at my blog post…COMPUTER ISSUES! Arghhhh…Murphy’s Law! Computers are such wonderful tools when they work! This afternoon the stars have lined up and programs are talking together nicely! Fortunately after a spike in my blood pressure [:-O] we get to tour the relaxing and wonderful creative space of Sherry Jackson! This is sure to bring us back into a ZEN moment!
I’m the owner of Shabby Shutters; A Paper Crafters Paradise & More. Recently I closed my Main Street location and converted to all on-line. In doing so; my very supportive husband and I redesigned the down stairs “family room” into my new craft studio. I absolutely love it!!
My inspiration is all vintage and will shine through in the photos.
I like “stations” so I’ve organized items accordingly. I also like rolling trolleys so I can bring tools and products to me.
The Mix Media station trolley and the top section with drawers [where I store extra paints, sponges, etc.] was purchased from Wicker Emporium. They really go well with my vintage theme. I also have a counter top for stamping, die cutting and next to it is the sewing station.
I like everything to have “it’s” spot so I know exactly where items are when I want them.
The photo that shows “above the counter” is just past projects, vintage finds, etc. This is great inspiration for me. The counter below (not shown in photo) is where the computer, printer is as well as my Sizzix Eclips.
(I’ve actually done a you-tube video that gives the tour )
