February is moving right along, hope everyone is surviving the crazy weather that has been plaguing much of Central Canada and our Eastern provinces. Having families in Ontario and Nova Scotia, I feel your pain! Hang tight, March is just around the corner!

On a brighter note; have you been entering our TASTE OF CHA? Still time to enter each day to increase your odds…someone is going to be a HAPPY SCRAPPER and the envy of their scrapbooking community! Before you go enter, come have a peek at this week’s creative space. Lynda Barber is from Guelph and needs some “warm” hellos from all our readers!

My name is Lynda Barber; I’m from Guelph, Ontario and have been crafting as long as I can remember.Β

I’ve finally reached the point where my craft space (although still a work in progress) is not an embarrassment to share. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad for any space other than the kitchen table; but I desperately needed some organization to better manage the time that I do get to play.Β

I’m lucky to have two large workspaces as well as my computer desk; though I never seemed to have enough room! I’m tucking storage into every nook and cranny!Β

I recently bought shelving units from Ikea and gave the closet an overhaul, now everything has a spot and is easily accessible.Β

I’m a huge fan of clear storage containers and have slowly been acquiring them and reorganizing my supplies. If I can’t see it I’m not likely to use it.Β

My favorite item at the moment is my Silhouette Cameo…oh the things you can do with this magical machine!Β

I’m still working on better storage for my scrapbooking tools, but I’ll get there. My room is rarely this tidy…as you know…creativity can be messy!Β

Hope you enjoy my little space…now I’m off to create something….where’s my scrapbook?

  1. That is an awesome space. It looks great. I know it doesn’t stay like that when you are working on a project, but it looks like a great place to create.

  3. Lovely organized space. Its great that you use under the desk for things you want at hand. Oh, yes that big empty desk would call to me too. Keep smiling and creating
