Though so many of us [especially from the Maritimes!] are not feeling the spring love at all… The calendar indeed says it is a true fact; that we have officially made it through winter. Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could just turn off the snow and be done with it?
I know I keep good company in my want for colour in my world again…green grass, flowers, blue skies…may it not be a pipe dream! I therefore challenge you to put down your snow shovel and come visit Karissa Wright’s creative space.
Here is where I create!
I bit the bullet and finally purchased my scrapbook area cabinetry. All of the white cabinets are from Ikea. I have paper storage in the tall white one, as well as under the desk area.
Although a bit blurry we can see all of Karissa’s wonderful storage and great light from the window and lamps!
My wooden stamps, glitters, adhesives, etc. are in the lower white cabinet under the desk. My hubby and I created my pen storage, my cling stamp storage and my punch storage.
I love all the organized areas here that are also very visible…everything seems to be within arms reach!
I love my new area because everything is in my sight and at my fingertips! I am also in the corner of my family room next to a cozy wood stove.
Can you feel the heat coming from that wood stove? The perfect winter scrapbooking zone!
I have the best of both worlds! Love your magazine – which I have at my fingertips on top of the tall white cabinet!
I hope Karissa’s space has inspired you do some scrapbooking and take your mind off the snow! Throw some colour into your world by working on a layout; maybe with a spring theme!
We want to see where you scrapbook or craft! It is so easy! Snap a few photos of your space and tell us a bit about it. Email your photos (as attachments to a SINGLE email, please) to Kim at kim[at]canadianscrapbooker[dot]ca. Each Friday, Kim will pick a scrap space to highlight on our blog. We are so excited to see where you have been creating!
I love seeing the creative spaces creative scrapers come up with! I am fortunate to have a husband that can read my mind and hand gestures and build me an amazing scrapbooking space, I’m always looking for new space saving ideas!
This includes the eBook and printable materials for the class.
Please note: You’ll need to provide your email address, as Nadine Milton will send the information directly to you.
