Pens, pens, pens, and more pens! WOW! The Sakura booth is bursting with everything to make your world colourful!

sakura16

Branching out from pens, Sakura has expanded their beautiful line of Koi Watercolor palettes, suitable for travel, called the “Pocket Field Sketch Box,” which comes in different sizes.

And then there’s the walls of pens.

sakura2

The Pigma Microns have been a standard for many artists, and look at all the colours!

sakura5

The Koi Watercolor Brush pens are wonderful for illustrating, colouring, with or without water, and brush lettering.

The Cray-Pas is the original high quality oil pastels that probably many of us used in elementary school. The range of colours is impressive!

sakura7

For non-porous surfaces like chalkboard, vinyl, metal, wood, vellum, glass etc… the Permopaque Pigment Markers are awesome and have a dual point: bullet and chisel.

sakura10

Another line of permanent pens that work on various materials is the Pen-Touch. They come in various nib sizes and colours.

sakura12

Hand letterers will enjoy using the fabulous Calligraphers line of pens, which have 3 sizes of chisel tips.

sakura8

The Souffle pens dry with raised 3D texture and the Glaze pens have shimmery shine.

sakura9

IDenti-pen is a dual-point multipurpose marker that will mark most non-porous surfaces. It’s easy to label personal items with your contact information, or decorate them with illustrations and patterns. Use IDenti-pen to mark on a wide variety of difficult surfaces, such as wood, metal, plastic, glass, golf balls, CDs, and slick paper. IDenti-pen is also the right choice for autographs from your favorite musician, athlete, or actor on photos and memorabilia.

And then there is the Gelly Roll display.Β  OH WOW.

sakura14

This is a display of happiness! There are 5 types of Gelly Roll, and yes you need them ALL: Classic, Metallic, Moonlight, Shadow, and Stardust.

In the booth, Janet Takahashi was doing demos with the Calligrapher pens.Β  Here is a video from our Periscope session that day! Remember to follow us on Periscope (it’s a free Twitter app download) so you don’t miss future projects and discussions!
