We have almost reached the Ides of March! This weekend the clocks “spring ahead”. Needless to say I am getting just a little giddy with the thought of Spring around the corner. Here in Edmonton, Alberta it really feels as if it is already here, I know everyone is not so lucky. Hang tight…we’re almost through to next season. YOU can do this!
This week we are really excited to be sharing Tracy McLennon’s scrapbooking space. You may recognize her name from our website and social media shares. We are thrilled to have Tracy on board as a guest designer, her posts are always well received with many of your “likes” and “hearts”. As you will see in a couple of Tracy’s pictures below…she has LOTS of ribbon! May Arts Ribbon is another lucky company to have her as a design team member, as is Tombow USA; Tracy was recently asked to be one of their Tombow Brand Ambassadors! You can see more of her work on her blog.
Hey there, Tracy McLennon here.
Today I’m sharing a little bit about my craft space. My crafting area would be best described as compact, organized and chaotic…all at the same time. These photos were taken on a day between projects, cleaned up and ready for the next. Any other day it can look like a complete Craftastrophy!
We recently moved to the outskirts of my hometown and are renting a small farmhouse. This leaves very little room for my crafting area. I did the best I could with the space that I had available. I chose a space with great light.
It’s close to a TV, just outside of the photo so that I can put on a musical, Gilmore Girls or Downton Abbey in the background of my craftiness.
I have compiled and even made racks specifically for things like paints, sprays, inks and my beloved May Arts Ribbon.
Close at hand on my desk are my pens, pencils, markers, my adhesives and my trimmer. Everything else is a short swivel chair ride away!
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my crafty, scrappy space!
