It has been 4 days since  another season of The Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnivals have come to an end AND I am still overwhelmed by how absolutely amazing the events turned out – THANKS TO ALL OF YOU! This year Edmonton and Calgary raised over 3000.00$ for The Christy Riopel Art Scholarship – THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! This is so incredible – I seriously am overwhelmed by the out pouring of support from all of you! THANK YOU  THANK YOU ! Christy’s husband,  Mike Riopel, sent us a personal note of gratitude to extend to all of you that participated. He was also overwhelmed with all your generosity.
The scholarship is intended to be given out to children who wish to pursue their love of art  and who need it the most. Christy was a huge part of the Boys and Girls Club of Calgary and therefore it is through this club that the scholarships will be handed out. To date one scholarship has been awarded to a very deserving recipient.  I know without a doubt, that Christy is absolutely smiling and loving that we are helping these these young artists flourish.THANK YOU once again.

The Photo Booth
The photo booth at the carnivals are so much fun. Croppers stop in – I take their photos – then I print them out right on site and hand deliever them to wherever they are sitting in the crop area.  One of my most favourite things is when the croppers turn around and scrapbook a page or two using these photos. Such a great keepsake from the event and it really is an honour that our magazine is being showcased in your scrapbook albums! THANK YOU! Here are a couple of examples for you to enjoy.

Fall 2017 Issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine
If you didn’t get a chance to pick up the Fall issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine at the Carnival – I highly suggest you find one at a store nearest you!  This issue is gorgeous and is full of everything scrapbooking, paper crafting, card making etc etc.  This cover might just be one of my favourites.
