Each and every week, we look back in time and remember the beautiful art of our late friend and colleague Christy Riopel.
Christy’s designs are timeless. So many of her creations from way back when continue to inspire us today. This week we are looking back to the Spring 2016 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, inside Christy’s regular Tool Junkie article. This article was all about a HOT new tool called the groove tool. Christy demonstrated a variety of different ways to use the tool on scrapbook layouts. This was my personal favourite. Peter’s Drive Inn was always a place we stopped on our way to the mountains to go skiing. I loved that Christy thought to capture this little family tradition. Her children will cherish it.
Here is the article as it appeared inside the Spring 2016 issue. Happy Scrapbooking Everyone!
In loving memory of Christy Riopel – we continue to raise money for the Christy Riopel Art Scholarship. To date – one scholarship has been given through The Boys & Girls Club of Calgary. This warms my heart knowing that Christy continues to spread gentle, caring and inspiring love through art in our world. Thank you so much to everyone who donates. We appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
