Each and every week, we look back in time and remember the beautiful art of our late friend and colleague Christy Riopel.
Christy’s designs are timeless. So many of her creations from way back when continue to inspire us today. This week we are looking back to the Fall 2013 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. In this issue, once again in Christy’s Tool Junkie article, Christy created a number of different layouts featuring a variety of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L products.  More often than not, we purchase adhesives and clearly think only to use them as adhesives. Christy’s article was all about looking at your adhesives in a different light! Here is one of my favourite layouts from this feature. On this layout, Christy uses Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Dodz (glue-like dots) and turns them into a glitter banner! LOVE it! In loving memory of Christy Riopel – we continue to raise money for the Christy Riopel Art Scholarship. To date – one scholarship has been given through The Boys & Girls Club of Calgary. This warms my heart knowing that Christy continues to spread gentle, caring and inspiring love through art in our world. Thank you so much to everyone who donates.
