Hello Creative Scrapbookers, Kim here! It’s August already! Why do summers fly by so fast? I am off this week and looked forward to a little less routine and some daytime creativity! I have a few birthdays coming up, so I thoughtI’d make a few cards! Today’s card adventure ended up being this whimsical llama twister!
Here are a few photo shares of my process!
Have you tried any of Art Impressions Twisters? The stamps come with the dies and they are super fun to play with! This stamp set for the Twisters comes with a front, back and sentiment. I stamped it onto Creative Scrapbooker SuperStock, which ended up making a really great, sturdy llama accent!I coloured up my images using my Nuvo Alcohol Markers, I adore so many of the colours, it was hard to narrow them down! The Art Impressions Twisters sets also come with the dies. I suppose you could hand cut them, but that would take so much time and they have to be a perfect match from to back. Thankfully a decision you do not have to make because these are sold as a set! EASY, PEASY!I picked out a background from my stash of gel prints. For some reason circles always feel energetic to me, so this print was perfect to pair with my twisted llama! I cut the print down to size with my Olfa craft blade. The mat and ruler make it an effortless task!I added a few white paint splatters and some Robins Nest Dew Drops…just a few more layers of texture and fun!The end result was a whimsical card with a fun, interactive touch! Honestly, who can resist twisting the llama around to check out his/her festive butt!Well…that’s the tail end of my card making adventure for today!
Thanks for taking the time to check out my card, I’m off to make a few more!
