Creative Scrapbooker's VIP Club

Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! For today’s blogpost, I’m sharing with you how I created this 13 Tag using patterned paper from Simple Stories, Dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, ink from Ranger Ink, Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn all about my tag at home. To start, die cut the 2 5/8” tag out of the Planner Essentials – Tab 4 with Tags die from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of a piece of Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Choose one of the reinforcements out of the Planner Essentials – Tab 4 with Tags from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide Ink from Ranger Ink, blend the ink through the dotted stencil out of the Planner Stencils 1 from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Walnut Stain Distress Ink from Ranger Ink to ink the edges of the tag and reinforcement. Take the dotted note piece stamp out of the Note Pieces Stamp Set from Elizabeth Craft Designs and apply Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink from Ranger Ink to the stamp and stamp onto a piece of Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Cut out the dotted note piece. Cut the note piece down to 2 1/8”. Using a blending tool with foam and Walnut Stain Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, ink the edges of the note piece. Die cut the worn border out of the Planner Essentials 40 – Number Banner & Patterns from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Trim the worn border down to 4 3/8”.  Using a blending tool with foam and Walnut Stain Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, ink the edges of the worn border piece. Die cut the splatter out of the Art Journals – Journal File 1 from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of a bingo card. Using a blending tool with foam and Walnut Stain Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, ink the edges of the splatter. Die cut the 1 & 3 out of the Planner Essentials – Large Numbers from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of a piece of book page. Die cut the 1 & 3 again out of a piece of patterned paper from the Simple Vintage Essentials Paper Pack from Simple Stories. Using a blending tool with foam and Walnut Stain Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, ink the edges of all the numbers. Next, you’ll need the Tickets Stamp from Elizabeth Craft Designs. Take out the admit one ticket, 0598 ticket and C5393 ticket. Apply Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink from Ranger Ink to the admit one ticket and stamp onto a piece of kraft cardstock. Reapply ink to the stamp and stamp on the same piece of kraft cardstock. Apply Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide Ink from Ranger Ink to the 0598 ticket and stamp onto the same kraft cardstock piece as the other tickets. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink from Ranger Ink to the C5393 ticket and stamp onto a piece of Super Stock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Fussy cut around the tickets as desired. Using a blending tool with foam and Walnut Stain Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, ink the edges of the tickets. Choose two pieces of patterned paper out of the Simple Vintage Essentials Patterned Paper Pack from Simple Stories. Cut once piece of patterned paper to 1 ¼” x 4”. Cut the second piece of patterned paper to 1 ¼” x 4”. Using a blending tool with foam and Walnut Stain Distress Ink from Ranger Ink, ink the edges of the patterned papers. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the reinforcement to the top of the tag. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere one of the patterned papers ¼” from the left and ¾” from the top of the tag. Staple the worn border 1” from the right and ¾” from the top of the tag. Adhere the C5393 ticket 1” from the left and ¼” from the bottom of the tag. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the dot note piece 1/8” from the left and 1” from the top of the tag. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the admit one ticket ¼” from the right and 1 7/8” from the top of the tag. Adhere the 0598 ticket ¼” from the right and 5/8” from the bottom of the tag. Cut the top and bottom off the admit one ticket. Adhere the bottom of the ticket ¼” from the bottom and ¼” from the left of the tag. Adhere the top of the ticket 3/8” from the left and ¾” from the top of the tag. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the remaining patterned paper 5/8” from the left and 1” from the top of the tag. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the splatter ¼” from the right and 2 ¼” from the top of the tag. Use adhesive to adhere the two patterned papers numbers to the book page numbers to create a shadow. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the numbers as desired on the splatter. To finish the tag, tie a piece of black twine through the hole at the top of the tag. Here is the finished 13 Tag. Thank you for joining me today and taking the time to check out my blog post.
I hope that my 13 Tag has inspired you to recreate your own at home.
