Hey there! It’s Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com and I’m happy to be here to share my take on Kerry Engel’s fun June Sketch using some of the new Botanical Burst Collection from Creative Memories. This pretty mix-and match collection offers four paper packs and four embellishment packs in Blue, Pinks, Greens and Yellows, so there’s bound to be a match for almost any photos that you’re scrapping! When I saw Kerry’s sketch, I loved the look of the large half circle in the background with photos off to the side.  I used my Jumbo Circle with the Blue Blade from the Custom Cutting System to cut a large circle from the green leaf patterned paper from the Botanical Burst Green Paper Pack. (*You could also use the new Circle Cutter which cuts and draws circles from 3” to 11.75”. This new tool was so hot that it is out of stock…

I am IN LOVE with how Desiree Saskiw designed this layout. It is brilliant! The cut out photo, the stamped eye, the doodling, the flowers in her hair and that stunning background. And the quote is perfect. Every once in awhile a layout stops you in your tracks…this one did it for me. If you are wondering – those funky stamps are from Ranger – their Dylusions collection. Desiree’s layout was one of MANY projects that were featured in the Summer 2021 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine in an INSPIRED by MEXICO gallery. This may be one of my all time favourite sections in the magazine. So bright, so cheerful, so colourful! All my favourite things.  Get your copy of the magazine today! Happy Tuesday Friends! My summer garden inspired the big floral explosion on this card. This was the first time I’ve used these watercolor stamps by Art Impressions. It was very addictive. Watching the bouquets come to life is magical.  Creating depth with a mask. To create the row of stamped pots I made a mask out of the pot and used it to create depth.
