Halloween is in the AIR!!!! I have been lovin’ all the spooky creations that have been popping up all over social media! I particularly LOVED this little shaker card designed by Betty Lim-Silvernail that I found on her blog featuring all kinds of products by Stamp Anniething! Betty designed the shaker on her card using the Stamp Anniething Shaker Basics Die Set 1 and the Spider Web Shaker Die Add On. She fill her shaker with the sweetest Stamp Anniething Sprinkles – Friday Night Sprinkles and Batty for You. The Stamp Anniething paper Betty used included the Awakening Glitter Pack and the super cute Pumpkins Paper Pack. And of course, Betty used the Stamp Anniething Natalie-Lil’ Devil Stamp Set. LOVE IT! Be sure to pop on over to Stamp Anniething and check out their HUGE selection of MUST HAVE fun products!!!! Happy Thursday Friends!

Paper can often be the most overwhelming part of our craft supply collection.  Many paper crafters have thousands of sheets of paper. I like to start with paper because it is the supply we use on almost every project.  Which means, you’ll also get the most benefit, most of the time, from getting it organized. What you need: Vertical Paper Storage Boxes Label Tabs/Sticky Notes – I prefer plastic, flexible notes over paper. Dividers 12×12 Paper Pockets, SuperSized Singles, Sideloader Singles or Collection Keepers ScrapMasters, File Folders or Scrap Pockets Themes & Sentiments list you created last week Why Vertical Paper Storage Boxes – Vertical simply takes up less space on your workspace while at the same time giving you easiest access during both organizing/sorting, and crafting. Paper Pockets, SuperSized Singles, Sideloader Singles or Collection Keepers You’ll use these to keep “collections”of  paper together.  All of these that listed are…

Welcome Fall! Hi friends…Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share a double page layout featuring the gorgeous new It’s Fall, Y’all Collection from Creative Memories! The colors and patterns were inspired by the beauty of crisp autumn days and you’ll find it perfect for photos of all things Fall…like scenic fall foliage drives, corn mazes, apple picking, Halloween, Thanksgiving, family gatherings and more! I had so much fun creating SIX double page layouts with this collection and teaching a class how to make them during the recent Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival in Calgary. The ladies who joined me for the class were amazing, and would you believe we made all six layouts in just two hours? Here is one of the layouts we created… We used my 1-2-3 method to create it –  take 1 piece of double-sided patterned paper, 2 sheets of paper/cardstock or album pages for the base and…

Welcome to the 12 week Get Organized Challenge. I’m so glad you’re here.  Our goal this week is to set a foundation for getting and staying organized. Why are you doing this? Identifying why you want to get and stay organized is a necessity for success. “I want to get organized because… I feel overwhelmed when I try to craft, and it’s not fun anymore, I want crafting to be fun again. I feel like I’m wasting most of my crafting time looking for supplies instead of crafting, I want to get more done during my crafting time. I want to have friends and family come over and craft with me, but I don’t have space for them right now. I have invested lots of money in my craft supplies, I want to feel like I’m getting the value for the money spent. I’d love to travel to crafting events,…

Lately I have become a little obsessed with printing oversized photos and including those in my albums. I simply haven’t been crafting as frequently as I’d like to and began “batch printing”. I decided that I wanted the photos printed. If I had the photos printed, then sometimes the stories are already told.  As I declutter and cull my digital photos each month, I am sending a batch of photos to my local printing shop, Newfoundland Canvas. However, because I am currently printing in advance, I was picking out a couple of my favourites from each month and blowing them up to 8×11”. Practically every other photo is printed in 3×4 so that the option of plopping photos in a “wham, bam, thank you ma’am” style pocket page is there. I will tell you though that I typically print from home, in fact, the two 8.5×11” photos you see in…

To say that I am addicted to my Brother P-Touch Cube (PT-P300BTAD) is a little of an under statement. This little machine is a game changer for me. FAST, EASY, TONS of OPTIONS and the added bonus of printing on ribbon – I am in scrappy heaven. WOWZERS! From printing custom sentiments, in different fonts, in different colours on different backgrounds for cards – to adding journaling strips to my layouts and planner pages… and then of course labelling just about EVERYTHING!  Seriously – you need to add this little gadget to your MUST HAVE TOOLS! Here are a few examples of a FEW of the different varieties of drop-in cartridges that are EFFORTLESS to use! Here is a little example of a card I designed using the P-Touch Cube to create the sentiment on this mystical greeting card. Take a minute or two and watch as I put this…
