Using the Stand Up Window Kit, a retro bike and flowers from Southern Ridge Trading Company, a few fussy cut images from Bo Bunny’s Butterfly Kisses Collection and a variety of different mediums from Ranger Ink, I was able to create this beautiful Spring Window. Make sure to grab a cup of your favourite beverage, as I show you how to recreate my Spring Window in the comforts of your own home.To start, you’ll need the Stand Up Window Kit from Southern Ridge Trading Company.  In this kit, you’ll receive the wood base, the wood stand up piece, a rock stencil with the window portion blank and the window with shutters and decorative top piece. Place the stand up piece on…

HELLO SUMMER! Hey everyone, – Cathie Allan here – thought I would share with you a totally fun and easy card that you can create in the wee hours of the morning. Why? … in the “wee hours of the morning?” ….. well, because, it is May 23rd and it is behaving like summer outside so we NEED to spend “some” of our “crafting time” in our gardens and on our deck.   I used totally “doable” stamping techniques to  create a fun, shape card that “wanted to be a slider card”.  The background was simply stamped using a wonderful solid, daisy stamp from Impression Obsession and two fabulous pigment colors from Clearsnap. Since it was pigment ink, I was able to stamp the darker, Antique Pewter images first and then stamp the lighter, Buttercup images on top of the dark color.  Pigment ink allows me to do this and I…
