Feature Friday is here! Every Friday, I will highlight one project that was published in a past, or in the current issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine! HOORAY! Just another fabulous way to showcase so many amazing projects that our followers have shared with us throughout the past 15 years! DRUM ROLL PLEASE There are so many things I love about this layout designed by Cathryn Ledger from Edmonton, Alberta. The cute little birdie cut file looks awesome with all the different pieces of patterned paper showing through. They have a quilted baby bird feel that I love! The soft background with the doilies and the addition of twine flowers with brad centers all work wonderfully together. Hi friends! Noreen here from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com to share a fun scrapbook layout featuring the new Staycation Collection and Dine Border Punch from Creative Memories! Staycation is a collection that celebrates staying close to home and enjoying all that our local area has to offer and it’s perfect for all the photos of family nights, baking sessions, backyard parties, and virtual celebrations that we have all experienced over the past year! And the Dine Border Punch is so much fun to documents family dinners, BBQs, take-out meals, or anything else having to do with FOOD! To create this layout, punch two borders with the Dine Border Punch from the kraft-colored patterned paper in the Staycation Paper Pack. Mount them onto two strips of green arrow paper with Repositionable Adhesive. TIP: Repositionable Adhesive is awesome for adhering detailed borders as the tiny dots of adhesive only stick to the paper! Cut…
Hi friends! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share a single-page scrapbook layout featuring a brand-new collection by Creative Memories – Emerald Gemstone! This stunning collection is inspired by the wonders of nature and features patterns such as starry night skies, aurora borealis, bold leaves, peacock “eyespots,” mineral deposits, water droplets, crystals, and watercolour washes in a radiant palette of navy and royal blue, teal, white, emerald green and touches of yellow-green. There is a Patterned Paper Pack, a Tone-on-Tone Paper Pack, Stickers, Variety Mat Cards, and Laser-Cut Borders in the collection, as well as a gorgeous Album and Fast2Fab Pages, and I knew it would be perfect to use with some photos of a beautiful river valley and waterfalls from Kananaskis Provincial Park here in Alberta. I also wanted to use the new Gemstone Border Maker Cartridge as its unique shape works well to highlight and repeat the jagged shapes…
