Are you feeling merry today? Well, it’s November now and you might as well get used to the Christmas jingles and décor every way you look. For me, the Christmas season doesn’t start until a certain coffee shop releases their holiday cups… That’s right. I get giddy inside and I instantly want to hoard keep my first empty cup in order to scrapbook it later. Hi everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here today with a card I made for a special friend who is going through a difficult time battling breast cancer. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, I thought I would share this card with Canadian Scrapbooker readers. I pulled out my Close To My Heart watercolour supplies and pink cardstock and got busy! Did you know CTMH has all these wonderful products for you to indulge your inner artist? First I used a couple of the pink watercolours to paint the 3 heart balloons. After this dried, I outlined the balloons with a black permanent fine-tipped marker and also drew balloon string words. I wanted to add more pink colour to the plain white background so I brushed some wet watercolour pinks onto a piece of plastic and then pressed the card face down into it to pick up the paints.
