A few days ago we shot the Summer 2010 issue of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. This is really one of many FUN elements of my job! We take almost every photo that you see in the magazine right here in Brian Harder’s Studio in Calgary, Alberta. Here Brian is checking out the photo he just took on the computer screen to make sure it is FABULOSA – and it wasn’t!!! It took us about 1 hour to get the shot we were looking for! Katharina is our very talented HAND MODEL!  All the hands in our magazine belong to her! Aren’t they just perfect!!!! Next time you see her be sure to let her know you love her hands!!! Thanks Katharina!!!! That is me! Probably one of the most time consuming jobs I have is getting ready for the photo shoot. All the projects, layouts, photos etc that are used in the magazine…

There is no doubt in my mind that Prima Marketing KNOWS flowers! They create some of the most gorgeous flowers on the market today.  When I look through their website or catalogue my shopping list gets WAY OUT OF HAND!!!!! I was visiting their blog yesturday and came across these newly released flowers… They are Cloissone Flowers and have a metallic-like finish. They are a bendable flower with bronze accents and a sparklying crystal center!  Just gorgeous! I borrowed this above layout from the Prima Blog ( I LOVE IT) it was designed by Iris Babao-Uy. She used three Cloissone flowers to accent this gorgeous layout. For all you flower lovers out there – be sure to check out the Prima Blog on a regular basis – they share tons of projects to get you inspired!  Check it out.

After seven months of dancing 4-5 times a week – festival season is knocking on our door! This is a typical tap class. Eila (young lady in the middle) is a fabulous tap instructor – she has really inspired Madeline to be a tap dancer – as tapping is not one of Madeline’s favourite classes. My Hannah bear gets to play with make-up! Which is unusual as she is my tomboy! I am not sure for how much longer though – she has been coming out of her shell a little more in the last 1/2 year. Madeline is growing up so fast! PLEASE slow down just a little! These two girsl are super duber ATHLETIC! Alley Cat and Hannah Bear! After they dance an elegant jazz duet – they go outside and CHUCK the baseball around!  Makes me smile. These three girls spend most of the day giggling and smiling!…
