Our host facilities will be implementing the provincial Restriction Exemption Program.

What does this mean:  guests 12 years of age and older are required to show one of the following:

• Proof of COVID19 vaccination documentation (one dose), accepted until October 25, 2021. Dose must be received more than two weeks before accessing facility and services. Proof of vaccination documentation includes:
    – Paperwork from Alberta Health Services website
    – Paperwork from pharmacy or Alberta Health Services vaccination record
    – Printed copy or online vaccination records from MyHealth app or website

• Proof of negative privately-paid rapid PCR COVID19 test result within 72 hours of access. AHS and Alberta Precision Laboratories results are not permitted.

• Medical exemption documentation.

Masks are mandatory in all indoor public spaces. This will include our Carnival market place, and crop area.

Gentle Reminders:

If you are sick or experiencing any symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, sore throat, we ask that you please stay home. We will miss you and want you to be well for next year’s event.
If you have tested positive for Covid-19 or have been recently exposed within 14 days prior to the event, we ask that you stay home and take care of yourself.

Note for Croppers: Please ask a friend to collect your goodie bag if you cannot attend.

We recommend face coverings and being mindful of social distancing based on municipal and provincial guidelines.

We understand that we only come once a year and you may not want to miss out, but your safety, as well as the safety of our vendors and staff, are important.

As always, wash your hands with soap and water and avoid touching your face whenever possible.
Please be mindful of others and respect their space.
We will have hand sanitizer and wipes available in all areas, but also encourage you to bring your own. Our staff is always available to help if you should need anything.

SHOW FLOOR:

High-touch surfaces will be wiped down regularly with disinfectant.
We recommend that people wear masks when social distancing is a challenge.
We will have masks made available for all attendees and vendors.
Capacity limits and social distancing guidelines are based on municipality and provincial guidelines.

REGISTRATION:

If you are a registered Cropper, there is a separate line/entrance for you to access the show floor.
Help reduce long lines by bringing cash.
Show floor Market Place admission is just $5 and saves you from touching those pesky credit card readers!
Our friendly staff will monitor the lines and periodically offer a quick cash transaction to avoid crowding at the counter.
Market Place show floor hours are Friday 9am – 9pm & Saturday 9am – 6pm.
Market Place Day Pass wristbands will be given to you on site.

CROP AREA:

Disinfectant and sanitizer will be provided at the Make & Take Loonie Bar.
All crop spaces are assigned. Your table/seat number will be indicated on your weekend Crop Pass. We will configure the crop area based on reservations to allow plenty of space for our guests. Please be sure to email carnival@creativescrapbooker.ca with the names of the people you wish to sit with.

REFUNDS:

Crop and class tickets will be refunded if provincial or municipal guidelines prevent the show from taking place.
