I stopped by CSM team member Jayme Loge’s blog the other day and LOVED this project she created for some very special friends in her life!  Little gift bags that included these gorgeous kraft tags. She used Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies, along with Ranger Dylusions ink spray to create these little tags of love! Hello Everyone; Kim here! Just wanted to share some fun cards and a tag I recently made using Art Impressions rubber stamps. It’s no secret among my creative friends that I have adored these whimsical stamps for some time. I LOVE them ALL! I used the same colour palette for all my projects, as well as Gesso and Crackle Paint on the tag. I applied the ink directly as well as over top of stencils. I literally just sat and played. My colouring was done with Distress Crayons. For my first card I simply used a stencil and ink for the background design; on white CSM Superstock. I used an Elizabeth Craft Design’s circle die for my image and mat, added some ink to the edges and a bit of sewing. I adhered my background on some Core’dinations cardstock after sanding it a bit to create more texture. A little bow…

I was wondering around the Internet yesturday and found this very cool technique on the Chameleon Pens blog. Leah Cornelius designed this card – creating a Bokeh effect using Chameleon pens. Today on our blog, Kerry Engel is sharing some beautiful watercolour effects on her scrapbook page using Tombow Dual Brush Pens. I love making my own embellishments. This layout began with a doodled flower that I created last summer. I actually have a stash of Tombow flowers just waiting for a story that needs telling (and embellishing). It’s so easy to make your own embellishments with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. In this layout I used the Tombows to create the following accents: 1. Journaling strips 2. Watercoloured flowers 3. Hand lettered title. Make your own customized journaling strips 1. Layer different colors of Tombow ink on watercolour or mixed media paper. 2. Wash with water to create an ombre, watercolour effect. 3. Let it dry then run it through a printer. The first time round I cut the paper into thin journaling strips. I thought my hand lettering was too…

Can happiness be found in a big box of pens? If the box has “Sakura” on it, then YES!  Just hold a Sakura pen in hand and see what happens! There are so many varieties of Sakura pens that will suit all of your arts and crafts projects.  Let’s take a look at some of them. The Gelly Rolls are very popular for hand lettering, colouring, doodling….and so on. The gel ink rolls onto paper smoothly and beautifully. There are 5 types of Gelly Rolls. The ink in Gelly Roll® Classic Medium and Fine Point pens is archival, waterproof, fade resistant, and chemical proof, making it ideal for  scrapbooks, cards, and any illustration where permanance is important. The Stardust Gelly Rolls will add glitter sparkle to your projects. There is a Clear Stardust pen that lots of stampers enjoy using to add sparkle to their stamped images. Moonlight Gelly Rolls…

Hello everyone! It’s Kelly Klapstein here today to share a couple of Valentine cards I made using Chameleon Pens and NEW Core’dinations Glitter Prints paper. I visited the Chameleon Pens website www.chameleonpens.com and signed up for their free newsletter, which gives me access to monthly digital downloads like this Zentangle heart on my card. Once I downloaded this Zentangle heart, I printed it onto regular marker paper and Core’dinations NEW Glitter Prints cardstock.  The first card above was printed on regular paper, and the second one was printed and coloured on the Glitter Prints cardstock The Chameleon Pens colour the Glitter Prints paper beautifully, with no bleed through. To watch a demonstration of how I coloured this card with Chameleon Pens, visit us on Periscope @CSMscrapbooker and watch the replay video. (Periscope is a free Twitter App that you can join to watch all of our livestream videos!) Happy Valentine’s…
