Gold Spiderweb on a Purple Background – The Perfect Halloween Card! Therm O Web Deco Foil Stardust hot foil works wonders for spooky Halloween cards, as seen in this delightful creation by Larissa Heskett. She transformed a purple background into a hauntingly fun card using the Spellbinders Spider Web Background Press Plate and applied gold foil for that magical shimmer. Larissa didn’t stop there! She die-cut an adorable spider using Therm O Web’s Black Deco Foil Plush Paper and added mini googly eyes to give the card some extra character. The texture from the plush paper makes the spider stand out, creating a perfect focal point on this fun and spooky card. Peel Reveal and Adorable Details The peel reveal is always so satisfying, especially when you unveil a gold spiderweb against a vibrant purple background! The Therm O Web Deco Foil Starburst hot foil for the WIN WIN! Who…

Hey everyone, Kim here! I’m sharing a simple layout today celebrating some of the yummy foods we enjoyed during a recent trip to Kauai. The layout itself is very basic, starting with a grid of four photos, offset to the right. I adhered my photo grid on top of two cardstock papers from some older Momenta stacks that I had from last year. The fun starts when I look for embellishments to add interest! Momenta has some wonderful dies. I was lucky enough to have three sets that played really well together and YES, one was the Christmas wreath! I easily cut the words out of the center and it was the perfect size to layer with my pineapple and flower die cuts! The “KAUAI” title was cut using the alpha dies, I love the font and size! All of the dies were cut from Brea Reese Mixed Media paper.…

While my layouts are usually less is more, and not full of patterned paper, I wanted to play around with paper on this one…I of course had to add a few dies as accents on my layout. This picture of my kids is from when they went zip lining in Maui a few years back. Its one of those few times where they are both looking at you, smiling, and not making weird or funny faces…you know how it is sometimes. 😉 I started with a neutral base for my layout, and thought I would add some fun patterned paper. I hand cut a few tag shapes from the patterns and layered them next to my photo. Using my Spellbinders Prizm die cutting and embossing machine I used varying elements from the Spellbinders S2-216 Die D-Lights Amused 1 and Spellbinders S2-227 Die D-Lites Springtime sets to create little accents in the…
