Welcome Fall! Hi friends…Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here to share a double page layout featuring the gorgeous new It’s Fall, Y’all Collection from Creative Memories! The colors and patterns were inspired by the beauty of crisp autumn days and you’ll find it perfect for photos of all things Fall…like scenic fall foliage drives, corn mazes, apple picking, Halloween, Thanksgiving, family gatherings and more! I had so much fun creating SIX double page layouts with this collection and teaching a class how to make them during the recent Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival in Calgary. The ladies who joined me for the class were amazing, and would you believe we made all six layouts in just two hours? Here is one of the layouts we created… We used my 1-2-3 method to create it – take 1 piece of double-sided patterned paper, 2 sheets of paper/cardstock or album pages for the base and…
Jayme Loge here, with some Tuesday with the Team inspiration! Summer holiday time has arrived, but going anywhere significant does not look likely this year for my family. We may take a few day trips within our province, but that is the extent of what we feel like we can plan. Lucky for me, I was on a trip of a lifetime last summer and have many great memories that need scrapbooking. If this is as close as I get to some travel, then I acknowledge that this is not too shabby an option! I picked up a bunch of items from Echo Park Paper Co.’s Scenic Route line. They were perfect for scrapbooking photos from my trip to the UK last summer. These layouts cover less than 24 hours of our almost 3 week trip; I think I will need to pick up some more. It’s been a delight…
Hi everyone! Noreen from OrganizedandCreativeMom.com here. I hope that you are staying home and staying safe during this time. Many of us are passing the time being creative with paper crafting and memory-keeping projects: I’ve been working my way through vacation photos from our trip to sunny Southern California last year which I have waaaay too many of, and I’m happy to be sharing a layout today that features a new product from Creative Memories that has helped me get more photos onto my vacation scrapbook pages! Peekaboo Pockets are photo-safe transparent scrapbook pockets that can be adhered to your scrapbook page or protector with their self-adhesive strip and are the perfect way to add more memories and memorabilia! Although Creative Memories has offered Peekaboo Pockets in the standard 4” x 6” size for a while, I was so excited to see that they are now offering them in 5”…
I don’t want to say it…but I am going to anyway…FALL IS IN THE AIR! And honestly that is totally okay with me cause as much as I love summer – Fall is my most favourite time of the year! I love the colours, the leaves, the pumpkins spice everything AND being a farmer’s wife, I LOVE HARVEST! The Fall issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine is a celebration of all things FALL! You definitely need to pick up this issue! Here is a little peek of one fall scrapbook layout that you will find in the Seasonal Gallery section designed by Heather Steeves from Barrie, Ontario. I love the clean lines and simplicity of this layout. I can just hear the children playing in the leaves! LOVE IT! All the supplies (except for the wooden shapes) on Heather’s layout are from Close to My Heart. The Fall issue is now…
Hello, friends Noreen Smith here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog! It seems that fall has arrived, and so has a beautiful autumnal collection from Creative Memories – “Gather Together”. This elegant collection with its rich colors and gorgeous floral and geometric patterns will work so well with fall-themed photos from Thanksgiving, family gatherings, fall road trips, autumn foliage and good times with friends. I knew this collection would be perfect to showcase family photos we had taken a couple of years ago on a beautiful fall day, but before I jump right to the layouts I want to share some tips with you. I just got back from a Creative Memories mini-conference for advisors where I spoke about some creative approaches to using sketches. Sketches are a great starting point and are so versatile. I create lots of sketches, but I also rely on them to jumpstart my…
