Kim Gowdy here! Hope everyone is having a great April! I have to say when I was given this week as my Tuesday with the Team date; I was just a little excited. You see, it’s the last one before Easter, so it lets me have an Easter theme! I have been stalking SVG sites lately and really wanted an excuse to buy one from SVGcuts. They have the most awesome collections and as I have discovered, if you take the time to open and read the pdf file that comes with the purchase, you will find the recommended height or width for each file. You have seen us play a fair amount with the Brother ScanNCut. I love that you can use the online program; ScanNCutCanvas, to upload SVG files to cut. There is a learning curve to this and any new software, but it’s pretty easy to use.…

I love submission calls! Often when I am out of creative ideas, a page call is just the thing to spark ideas! For the Spring issue of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine (PICK YOURS UP TODAY) there is a fun loving article for Tye Dye you won’t want to miss! For the TIE DYE page call, my first thought was how to create the look using products I have. The more I thought of it the more I realized that TIE DYE was more than just a technique, it evoked a feeling. A feeling of free spirit, happy times, freedom and just “chilling” with your friends! So these cards evolved… For the TIE DYE technique I used Ranger Distress Ink Refills and Perfect Pearl Mists. I chose these inks because they are very reactive with water or water based products such as the Pearl Mists, which allow them to flow, move and…
