Hi Connie NIchol here today with a scrapbook layout featuring the new Wild Rose collection from Heartfelt Creations. This company has such beautiful products and the wild rose collection is a great addition to anyone’s craft stash. As usual, the collection includes coordinating paper, stamps, dies and dimensional shaping molds, with the wild roses coming in both small and large sizes. This makes them super versatile because you can use the single flowers as I did below, or layer many sizes together to make a flower full of dimension. Heartfelt Creations papers go so well with pictures from my childhood. This one is scanned from a 35 mm slide from 1963. I remember the scratchy couch and my favourite stuffed bunny whose name was Teddy. You can create your roses and leaves by stamping with the cling mount stamps and colouring, or I used the coordinating dies to cut them…
Hello, Connie Nichol here with a quick layout with one of my favourite photos from a trip to the Mayan Riviera a few years ago. Just looking at it brings back the feel of the tropical sun and the smell of the ocean. Sigh. I used a couple of products from Creative Memories Travel Collection to create this layout – the solid core cardstock (I used lime green) and the matching cool serenity travel embellishments are perfect for scrapbooking beach vacation photos while the Bubbles Border maker cartridge adds a whimsical edge . I spotted a Dina Wakley Bullseye stencil from Ranger Industries in my stash and used it to create the large round embellishments which in real life have very cool texture.
