In the summer issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, Connie Nichol, our frugal scrapbooker, has an article all about using vintage sewing patterns. This featured article shows lots of fun ways to incorporate patterns onto cards and layouts. I thought I would share how I used them in a project! I have done up a 2-page mixed media layout in my Prima Travelers Mixed Media Notebook. This fun little notebook has various types of paper to work on; black & cream mixed media, kraft, cardstock and a heavy vellum. I have adhered some of the tissue paper pattern on the left side of my project and the packaging on the right side using Prima Soft Matte Gel.
