Well we are back again to Where You Create after missing last week! Five of us from Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine were fortunate enough to share an amazing weekend [last week] scrapbooking in Trochu, Alberta with some friends. It was a wonderful time filled with lots of laughs and our hosts at the St. Ann Ranch get 6 out of 5 stars! So while we were having so much fun, I missed sharing a creative space with you!
This week we are heading to Saskatchewan! When I read that Jessica’s craft room was in her basement I was shocked…it is so bright and lovely! The colour of her walls makes me swoon! *LOVE* I also adore all of her personal touches on her walls and that “punch” of pink is ROCKIN! Enjoy!
Hi! Here are some photos of my scrap room.
When we built our home five years ago, on a quiet acreage in central Saskatchewan, a craft room was on the top of my wish list. It’s changed a fair bit over the years and now, it is exactly the way I envisioned it. It’s located in our basement overlooking the family room and I love spending my free time here. It’s bright, cheerful and definitely my happy place.
This fall, my husband modified my existing desk and made it larger. Now there’s plenty of room for my 4 year old daughters to join me and together we love to create and play.
Four shelves in the closet helps keep things organized like my stamp sets, paper and other crafting items.
This large cabinet is a recycled piece from work that I refinished and it holds a ton of supplies.
Thanks!!Jessica Shymchuk
We want to see where you scrapbook or craft! It is so easy! Snap a few photos of your space and tell us a bit about it. Email your photos (as attachments to a SINGLE email, please) to Kim at kim[at]canadianscrapbooker[dot]ca. Each Friday, Kim will pick a scrap space to highlight on our blog. We are so excited to see where you have been creating!
Love it. Wish I could have a place like this. The ceiling is an a frame so I can’t have tall storage. Too much ends up on floor and need to keep moving whenever I I craft.
This includes the eBook and printable materials for the class.
Please note: You’ll need to provide your email address, as Nadine Milton will send the information directly to you.
