In a blink…it’s Friday again! I seriously feel like I just sat down to share last week’s WHERE YOU CREATE! Guess that’s what happens when we fill our bellies with turkey and “fixins” before starting a short work week! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, the weather here in Alberta was spectacular – hope yours was as well! Autumn in Canada is a wonderful thing! This week’s creative space is shared by Sherry Roth…enjoy the picture tour!
I’ve been admiring all the craft areas that you’ve been sharing on Where You Create and would love to share my craft room/studio. I teach classes so my area is a combined craft room/studio.
The back wall of the room is my crafting area. I have it divided into two working areas (a creative station and a computer station) with lots of storage.
The big pantry cupboard holds my albums and some extra cardstock and patterned paper, along with some of my alterable items.
I found a great butcher block counter height table at a garage sale, a few years ago, for a steal of a deal and it works perfectly as a Big Shot station.
Punches are stored on a couple of IKEA picture rails – they work great for the newer style punches that lock and stand up nicely.
To make things a little ‘pretty’, I’ve used some apothecary jars to store some of my twine, washi tape and buttons. I think those jars are one of my favorite things about my area.
I could add many more details but wanted to keep the email on the shorter side. I do have more details and photos on my blog (http://www.stampedtreasures.com/p/craft-roomstudio.html).
I always look forward to seeing the Where You Create posts. It’s fun to see everyone’s work areas and how they store and organize their supplies.
Thanks! Sherry Roth

Sherry’s place looks so welcoming. I love her way of organizing it into stations, will have to work on that for my place.
Thanks for sharing your place Sherry!
Oh my goodness what a beautiful room ! I am so jealous !
Lovely space to create alone or with others. I too love the apothecary jars, very clever.
