Today as you prepare for ghosts and goblins to come knocking at your door, don’t forget to take a break and visit this week’s WHERE YOU CREATE! A room in Lloydminster jam packed with great storage ideas for small spaces! Don’t let room size SPOOK you…come trick or treat at Geo Schapansky’s house for some creative ideas!
Hi there! My name is Geo Schapansky and I’ve been scrapbooking for many years. I live in Lloydminster and was introduced to scrapbooking through a Creative Memories home party way back in 1996; that my sister in law invited me to. I don’t think I had any idea what I was getting myself into this many years later.
In our home I have a really small room that is about 7’x9′ in which I create. In a space this small organization is important and I’m always looking for new storage ideas.
My favorite part of the room – the metal bars above my desk which holds so many embellishments and provides ample storage space. Everything is clipped onto the bar with binder rings; we all know that you use what you can see.
The built in quilt cupboard stores all my albums and future projects. I like to display my pages on the walls and album frames are the perfect size.
So much inspiration in such a small space.
This is definitely my favorite room in the house!

Beautiful room. Love the hanging embelishmets. Hmmm need me one of these. Lol. Just a note i see you have stuff on top of your row of Plastic drawers. If you can find a board/ shelf to go all the way accross then the top drawer will not bow under the weight of everything. It makes the top drawer easier to open. Tee hee and more space for treasures. Love your room. Happy Scrappin!!!!
Thanks Kym! The hanging embellishments is absolutely genius and holds so much. Easy to make too…if you know anyone who can do a small bit of welding for you.
I generally only store my cricut on the plastic drawers just because my table is out of space. I have the wall shelf right above them so it deters me from piling too much on top of them. I appreciate the tip though and thank you for looking at my room 🙂
I absolutely love your space and all your creative ideas for storage. Wow – what a place to create.
Thank you do much Gail!
Pesky typos!
I meant to type “thank you so much”
