Some layouts are harder than others to create.
Lots of things can stall the process…not having the right product, not enough time, not being inspired or lack of creative mojo.
Though the memory in my layout is a happy one, it was tough to create because our dear friend Christy passed away in August. I wanted this page to honour who she was to me…a creative soul, friend, teacher. I hold dear to my heart the laughs, conversations and art that were shared during this art retreat in the Spring.
Supplies: Magenta Nuance powders, Simple Stories patterned paper & wooden heart, Core’dinations vellum & glitter cardstock, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Kelly Klapstein’s word stamps were perfect for what I wanted to say.
Creative Scrapbooker Magazine is honoured to announce that we have started an ART Scholarship in Christy’s name. For those of you interested in honouring Christy Riopel and helping her legacy of ART continue, we are collecting donations for art scholarships for youth through the Boys & Girls Club of Calgary.
