Hello, Connie Nichol here with more photos from some of the lovely booths at Creativation in Phoenix last week.
The Chameleon Pens booth displayed their unique and innovative colour tone pens and color tops, pencils and Blendy pens . The artwork that can be created with these pens and pencils is truly stunning! I am inspired every time I see what can be created.
Clearsnap always has lots of delicious looking inks in their booth (including my favourite chalk inks). A few other things in the Clearsnap booth caught my eye. I can’t wait to try the powder spray bottle. You put your glitter or embossing powder into the bottle and gently pump the handle for a controlled application of your powder to the area to which it is meant to be applied (as opposed to your counter, floor, cats and kids). I also can’t wait to try the multi media ink kit. This is a multi-surface ink for paper, wood, metal, ceramics and more and comes in lots of yummy colours.
The Emerald Creek booth was chock full of embossing powders, stamps and metal charms. An exciting new announcement is the collaboration of Emerald Creek with Seth Apter to create Baked Texture, the artist version of Embossing Powders.
These powders have amazing textures and designs that can be glued on or melted for something truly unique and inspirational.
Brother had a large booth showcasing the Scan and Cut 2, as well as a new machine called the Design and Cut. The latter offers all the versatility of an electronic cutting machine, but without the scanning function. Either one of these cutting machines can do so many great things that it can take your crafting to a whole new level.
Heartfelt Creations is always a happy place to be, filled with beautiful papers and paper flowers of every size and shape. It feels like you are in a summer garden. Be sure to check out the new 3D flower shaping molds. They are such a great idea for instant detailing and dimension.
The Impression Obsession booth is always stuffed with tons of stamps and dies and hundreds of greeting cards. Check out this new Spring Garden background stamp. Wouldn’t that be fun to colour? And I love all the new stamps from designer Lindsey Ostrom.
I kept returning to the Paper House Productions to look at their new products. They have wonderful 12×12 paper pads, some with die cut edges (the color washed and marble ones were my favourite), photo albums and a new partnership with Hewlett Packard to capture your memories. Stay tuned!
There were so many products in the Art-C/Momenta booth to look at. On the Momenta side of the booth, I really loved the foam stamps and adhesive stencils, while the Art-C section had lots of mixed media supplies and Brea Reese inks and paints. It was inspirational watching these inks be demonstrated to create stunning watercolour paintings. The Thermoweb booth was always humming. In addition to their great selection of adhesives, Thermoweb had such beautiful Deco Foils and were demonstrating how to make their beautiful cards with foil accents from Gina K Designs.
Thanks for stopping in. That’s all for this year. Be sure to keep your eye out for many of these new products to arrive in your local scrapbook store.
