Hello! Kim here again with another FUN card share! Honestly, where would you be without your favourite girl gang? Regardless of age, our BFF’s are a huge part of getting through life! They make us laugh, love us despite our faults and encourage us to be our best self! BFF Girl Gang / Distress Inks

That being said…how can you not LOVE the Picket Fence BFF Girl Gang stamp set! I love all the sentiments and possibilities! It will be a well-loved stamp set for years to come!

On to the details of how I created this 6×6 card that makes me smile!

Ranger Distress Oxide Inks for water colouring
I added colour to my stamped image using Ranger Distress Oxide inks with water and a paint brush. It’s so easy and give lets of depth. You can use Ranger Archival Ink for stamping the image to ensure no bleeding of ink will occur when painting!
Ranger Distress Ink and Embossing Glaze
Another option for stamping your image so it will not bleed ink when water colouring is my favourite. Here I used Black Soot Distress Ink with Hickory Smoke Embossing Glaze. The result is a dark and warm black image. The embossed image also keeps your water colours within the lines and helps to make my sentiment pop!
Dina Wakley Collage Collective / Ice Resin Sari Ribbon
For the upper third of my card, I used a gorgeous piece of paper from the Dina Wakley Collage Collective ~ I LOVE this collection of mixed media designs. I recently got my hands on some of Ranger’s Sari Ribbon and was happy to add it to my card. The irregular colours and wrinkles and yummy texture!
Ice Resin Sari Ribbon adhered with Elizabeth Craft Designs double sided adhesive
One of my favourite products in my craft room is Elizabeth Craft Designsdouble-sided adhesive. I have many widths to choose from in my stash, but this narrow strip was perfect to adhere my ribbon! You need this strong, adhesive workhorse close at hand!
Tonic Studio Nuvo Drops
Have you played with Tonic Studio‘s Nuvo Drops? They are so fun and add amazing texture. I have chosen a very subtle colour contrast, but I have a few drops around the title…just enough in real life to say…hey check that out! I also love to use the Tonic Studio Card Blanks with Envelopes as the base for cardmaking projects!

Thanks for checking in! Just like Arnold Schwarzenegger…I’ll be back!
