Hi all! It’s Cathy Caines here to share some fun Halloween projects featuring Stampin’ Up! The ghosts and goblins have been out to play in my backyard since September began. I love to create for Halloween!! It could be that I get giddy at the thought of candy or that I have an excuse to search Pinterest for cool costume ideas. Regardless, if you have Halloween on your mind, here are some fun ideas using Stampin’ Up! products. First, you need a banner – this banner was created using the Chalkboard Banner Simply Created Kit. I used white Staz-On and stencils to create the word ‘BOO’, as well as rubbed it around the edges. This gave it a more spooky feel but chalk would also do the trick. My daughter would say that treats are the most important thing and most definitely the priority. I couldn’t agree more. I created this…
Today we welcome Adel Otto as our guest blogger who designs wonderful scrapbooks with pocket pages. I’m probably a Canadian memory keeper just like you: a dark roast coffee drinker, Netflix voyeur , a teacher, a wife, and a mother to four teenagers. My memory keeping style is “pretty storyteller”, so I like to capture adventures, transformations and celebrations in a lovely, bright and layered way. I can be found sharing on Instagram aottocafe and at my blog “Studio Latte.” Are you head over heels over pocket pages? Maybe you can’t believe you are finally recording your stories again because of Project Life or you love the Simple Stories Snap albums or Studio Calico Handbook. I had a mad crush on pocket pages for two years before I started adding 12×12’s back into my albums. Even though pocket page spreads provide a lot of options for memory keeping, I often…
Hello everyone! It’s Kelly here to share with you a fun Valentine card I designed using DCWV’s new Vintage Collector line. Here are the DCWV products that I used: These new DCWV cards make it so quick and easy to customize your own designs. I started with the card base and then added to the interior. I trimmed this piece of paper from the mat stack to fit inside. I chose this “Love” label from the Vintage Collector Tag Stack and added a piece of May Arts ribbon.. Then I decided to make a pocket for it using the matching Vintage Collector card stock. I drew faux stitching with a ruler around the pocket edges. I cut out the [heart] U image from a piece of paper in the Vintage Collector Mat Stack and adhered it to the centre of the pocket. And that is that! Pretty easy! Now…
Hi Everyone! Jodi Willton here today, to share with a little project using DCWV WHITEBOARD paper (yes, I said WHITEBOARD!). I don’t know about you, but my toddler LOVES to use paper, and more paper and more paper. As soon as I saw that DCWV has whiteboard paper, I knew I had to create something that would be reusable for her! So I started by spray painting a clipboard white. (Be sure to use a couple of coats). Next I measured my clipboard, then cut the whiteboard paper to just fit on top of the clipboard. I used my Beacon Adhesives 3 in 1 glue to ensure the paper is adhered really well! Next I used the Vintage Basics Stack and added 1 inch paper borders to the edges of the clipboard. I added a cute little punched out heart and circle to accent the clip at the top.…
