Hi everyone – Noreen Smith here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog.Do you use sketches in your scrapbooking? They are so versatile and you can use them over and over again, right? Well, you can really do the same thing with a card sketch! At this time of year there are so many occasions that you might be creating cards for, so why not use one sketch as the basic design and change up your supplies to create all of the cards you need quickly and easily? Each month I design a โ1-2-3 Card Sketchโ that gets its name because it uses just 1 sentiment, 2 paper shapes and 3 embellishments. I create a handout with the sketch and measurements as well as samples of the finished cards, along with a video that demonstrates how quick it can be to create cards using this formula (if youโre interested, you…

Thereโd be a lot more animals if my kids had their way but…

I used this awesome chevron border punch along the bottom of the card base. I just love this Stampin’ Up!ย Gorgeous Grunge set and used 3 of the stamps for this card. I stamped this striped piece to layer over the heart with the sentiment, which I hand wrote. I added that teeny jaw clip just because it’s so adorable! I also drew the heart on card stock and cut it out, then stamped the spattered dots on it. Behind the punched chevron border, inside the card base, I stamped these grunge lines:…
