The Boys with Tracy McLennon

What a fabulous layout designed by Tracy McLennon using those old photos that often scare us. Nobody wants to wreck these precious memories. The answer – MAKE COPIES and scrapbook them! WIN-WIN! I love all the Ranger Distress inks and sprays she allowing this photo to take center stage. Tracy used a variety of Stampers Anonymous stamps including the Wendy Vecchi Off the Grid Background stamp AND the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Tapestry Stamp set to create layers on the background. She also used the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Crocodile Layering Stencil to create the design you see on the outside frame of the background. LOVE IT! The journaling was created using stickers from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Small Talk Stickers Booklet. Heritage Layout featuring Stampers Anonymous

Hello crafty friends! Tracy McLennon here and I’m hoping these beautiful summer months are treating you as well as they are me, in my neck of the woods. Just because it’s summer, doesn’t mean I don’t stop creating. But these days I’m usually crafting on rainy days or later at night. Today I am sharing with you a Heritage Layout featuring Stampers Anonymous. I have been on a kick lately of creating heritage layouts. I just love creating using a vintage colour palette and using heritage family photos that I am lucky enough to have access to. Here are the details. I created a stamped border using all of those stunning vintage Ornate Trims stamps from Stampers Anonymous using Ranger Walnut Stain Distress Ink and brown embossing powder. I have a love for my collection of heritage family photos. I am lucky to have had access to huge photo collection from both sides of my family. So I have scanned, printed and archived many of them. Check out this layout Connie Nichol designed featuring products from Art-C, Clearsnap and Westcott! SUPPLIES: Art-C patterned cardstock, large alphabet stamps, stencils, texture cream and embellishments, Stampin’ Up! small alphabet, Clearsnap ink, Westcott paper trimmer and scissors. To create the chevron background Connie used an Art-C stencil and texture paste. She used Art-C alphabet stamps and Clearsnap ink to create the title.
