Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a scrapbook layout featuring mountains and winter.     I  know I seem to be on a bit of a Lake Louise scrapbooking binge lately, but it’s purely random and l only typically visit Lake Louise once a year.  I happened to see this Quietfire Design quote stamp about dark pointed firs and was totally inspired to create a layout  around it with pictures I snapped last month when I visited the mountains with my teenager.  The trees were SO pretty after a huge snowfall!  I loved the quote so much I found the rest of it on the internet in the Total Works of Lucy Maud Montgomery: The night was clear and frosty, all ebony of shadow and silver of snowy slope; big stars were shining over the silent fields; here and there the dark pointed firs stood up with snow powdering their branches and the wind…

Hello Connie Nichol here today with a scrapbook layout featuring Wild Whisper Designs patterned paper and an elegant  Quietfire Design stamped quote.  Wild Whisper is a new company out of Calgary Alberta and they design beautiful and unique 12×12 double sided paper collections and paper scrapbooking cards. I had this photograph from a family road trip a few years ago, and the colours from the Wild Whisper Designs collection called ‘Strong and Free’ worked perfectly.  The paper has a little bit of a gloss to it and the variety of designs and colous in the collection are very fun to work with! The matching scrapbooking cards would work really well for pocket page type scrapbooking but here I just tucked some of them behind my photo.
