Ever wonder what the heck texture paste, gesso and all those other mediums are and what they are used for? Way back in the Summer 2016 issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine we asked Christy Riopel to do a feature article called “Mad for Mediums” to answer these very questions. In this article, Christy played with and explained the various uses of the different kinds of gesso and texture paste. Her projects included techniques using a variety of different types of gesso with everyday scrapbooking supplies like stencils, recycled magazines, distress spray, dies and so much more.
