Hey everyone, hope your summer has been great to date. I have a quick share today, a card I made, inspired by the June Sketchy Challenge. As I often do, I rotated the sketch. Just by rotating or mirroring a sketch, you can have so many different layouts from the same starting point…give it a go! My desk was too messy to take on a full page layout, yet somehow this card took as much time to figure out! I used cardstock, stamps, ink, markers and dies from Stampin’ Up. If you weren’t aware, their quality dies are made by Sizzix, so they can be used for years and years to come! Everything is held together by various types of Scrapbook Adhesive by 3L products. I used their tape runner, foam squares, photo corners and Dual Tip Glue Pen. Thanks for joining me on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog today.…

Hi! Kim here! Just a quick share of layout I was working on before our summer holidays. I was tidying up some paper stash and came across one of my Scrap Shotz’ kits that needed some love! …and so starts the process! I used papers and die cuts from the Kaisercraft “Botanica” collection. I added a bit of dimension and interest to the leaves by outlining the leaf veins with my Pico Embellishers, a fun product I was introduced to by Design Team member, Christy Riopel! I painted on a small amount of Art-C Ultra Chalk [soft, matte paint] where I wanted my journaling. Once dry, it provided a fantastic surface to write on with my Dylusions Black Marble paint pen. The Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnivals are right around the corner! AND we are super duper excited to start announce that are both for our Registration for our 9th annual…
