Welcome to another exciting technique filled Tuesday with the Team. Nicole Wright here sharing how to use a gel plate to enhance your pattern paper for a mixed media vibe. Using pattern paper as a “base layer” to your next project you can create more depth with paint. Thus, coordinating your paper and paints to anything you create. Follow along and see how I created a Mixed Media Floral Wreath. 1 For this technique, I will be using Media Assemblage pattern paper (more info on that at the bottom of this post) and Dina Wakely Media Acrylic Paint by Ranger Ink. Apply paint to the Gel Plate as seen above. You can brayer the paint to blend or use your finger.
