Hello everyone! It’s Kelly here, and today I’m going to share a fun embellishment you can make for your scrapbook layouts or cards.
For my newest Double the Fun sketch, I created this layout, celebrating my son’s Graduation:
See those shiny silver stars? They are made using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam shapes: 3D Foam Stars and Clearsnap foils!
In the package, the 3D Foam Stars are nesting, so you get an assortment of sizes.
Here is a quick photo tutorial of how you can make your own shiny stars! Designer Foil from Clearsnap will help you make your stars silver.
First, remove one of the star outlines from the sheet and place on any patterned paper. I used BoBunny‘s Woodland Winter collection.
Remove the adhesive backing from the 3D Foam Star and then press the Clearsnap Designer Foil directly on top. You don’t have to rub, just press onto the sticky top of the 3D Foam Star.
It’s that easy!
Then cut out around the edges of your silver 3D Foam Star.
Now you have a customized Star embellishment that matches the paper collection you are working with! Plus, there are MANY colours of Clearsnap Designer Foils, so you don’t just have to use Silver.
The stars are only the beginning…. did you know that Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L has even MORE 3D Foam Shapes? Easter, Garden, Birthday Party, etc. Time to go shopping!
Happy Crafting!
