Brrrrrrr…winter has arrived in Alberta! I don’t think we have been totalling singled out, but I know there are lots of places in Canada I’d rather be at the moment! ‘Tis the season to hunker in and stay warm; that often equates to more time in our craft rooms. There could be worse evils!

While we dream of more time in our own rooms, let’s go inside Deborah’s space to see where she creates!

Here is my crafty space!

Using horizontal surfaces wisely is what we do best! I LOVE the way Deborah has her ribbon spools stored on the dowels…great idea!

Another great idea and practical use for storage is the shoe bag on the door! If you look inside the closet it looks like her bags are hung which saves valuable space on the floor or a shelf.

Boxes, boxes, boxes….they keep all of our stash neatly compartmentalized and tidy. A shelf unit with doors…easily hides our stash from the eyes that just don’t understand! 🙂

I work from home and my real work is on the other side of this room. I must say I spend too much time on the work side and not enough on the craft side! Ha ha. The desk is an antique library table from my dad’s family.

A “work room” with a view! The wooden shelves that hold your favourite go-to stamps is so awesome!

Thanks Deborah for sharing your work & creative space with us. Some really great storage ideas can be found if you spend time looking into the pictures! I must say I would have a hard time working at home from this room….I’d want to jump ship and go to the creative side!
