Happy December! How did we get to the 11th already??? Less than two more weeks and we get to Winter Solstice…I crave the daylight coming back to us! Those celebrating Christmas are surely getting organized and decorating for the season, I love driving home and seeing all the lights! To our Jewish readers, I hope your Hanukkah celebrations were wonderful! ‘Tis the season of celebration for so many of us…busy, busy times! My space started to come to life about 8 years ago as my husband and I started our log home building journey. It was mentioned once along the way that the space would be the master bedroom; and with a loud laugh and a turn of the heel it was never mentioned again!
My space or the “Lady Room” as it has been dubbed is a 300 sq. ft. room with a balcony, and I love every square inch of it! My former craft space was part of our bedroom, in a 500 sq. ft. trailer where we lived as we built the house. Finally, since August 2014, I have been enjoying creating and organizing in my “Lady Room”.
My love for scrapbooking stared about 12 years ago, card making followed quickly leading to 3D items and chalk painting everything that stood still!
When it comes to my favourite products I have a hard time passing up that perfect piece of paper or metal embellishment; my motto is more is always better!
My favourite days always include hot coffee with my bestie up in the “Lady Room”, flipping through the latest copy of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine, picking out our favourite projects.
Hope you have enjoyed my creative space; I cannot thank my husband enough for helping me achieve this dream space.
