Hi there, Connie Nichol here today trying to get organized! It’s a great New Year’s resolution!! I am going to try using a planner to organize my time in 2016 and feel like I am taking control of my hectic days. I want to show you the beautiful new planner from Close to My Heart.
The planner has beautiful vibrant colours and provides lots of space to write lists, notes and details. I love the black cover with the gold embossed image and wanted the inside of my planner to look extra pretty so I customized some of the pages with some CTMH stamps and My Crush embellishments.
This soccer stamp set is a very useful set for the soccer mom!
Not only is it a great planner, but what I really like is that you can customize it by adding mini scrapbooking pages. Close to My Heart has designed special page protectors to fit the planner binder – these Memory Protectors come either with four 4″ x 3″ side-loading pockets or with two 4″ x 6″ side-loading pockets. Easy to slip in a photo and some journalling. Or you can purchase these nifty MyCrush Everyday Life pages, scrapbook directly on them and insert them into your planner. I love the idea of my planner holding pictures and journalling in addition to the details of everyday appointments, grocery lists and activities. Talk about a year in review.
You can also scrapbook on the cardstock monthly divider between each month. Add a photo and some stamped embellishments to create a quick page – it will certainly bring a smile to your face as you flip through your year. Bring on 2016. Happy New Year!

Cute! I do my planner electronically, but this is sweet!
Great inspiration! I was looking at this planner in the new CTMH mini catalog. I have never used planners, but as a memory log of the year? Hmmm…
Just got mine last week. Can’t wait to fill it in and have ready for January 1st. Love all of the colourful pages, large boxes for recording events and the cute set of stickers that come with it !
Super Cute. Just got mine yesterday now you have given me some great ideas. Yah CTMH what a way to start a new year!
Eagerly await the arrival of mine. Little bit behind the 8 ball this year.
SO clever!!!! I can’t wait to dig through my stamps to see what else I have to use in mine. 🙂
