Hello everyone! Kelly Klapstein here to share my take on the January sketch Challenge.
Our family spent a wonderful 3 days of the Christmas break in Jasper, so I snapped lots of photos and wanted to scrapbook them. I love this shot of my son and his girlfriend, hockey sticks in hand, skating on the outdoor lake with the mountains in the background.
I used the new BoBunny winter collection “White Out.” It is such an awesome collection for any winter layout!
The collection comes with papers, stickers, ephemera, die cuts, buttons, etc. all matching to make designing the layout really easy.
For my title, I hand lettered the word “Frozen” with a Tombow Dual Brush pen and then scanned it and cut it out with my Brother ScanNCut machine.
I also designed this cute snowflake heart with the Brother ScanNCut and cut it out from Canadian Scrapbooker SuperStock.
My 3rd ScanNCut element is this snowflake border which I designed using the machine library of shapes.
This time of year is the right time to get cozy, have a cup of tea and scrapbook!
Why don’t you give the January sketch a try, and don’t forget to upload it to our Sketchy Gallery! Click HERE to visit the gallery and be inspired!
