I was hot.
I was sweaty.
It was time to go in the cool basement where my craft room resides.
I was uninspired.
But anxious to document a story. I have been doing a lot of wedding projects lately and I havenβt been keeping up with my memory keeping.Β βThis is okay,β I tell myself.
I hauled out a 12×12 piece of paper.
I slapped some pictures on the page but didnβt feel the rush of creativity running through my veins. I was too lazy to take out a device to browse Pinterest. In fact, itβs more likely that I my bottom was stuck to the chair. We donβt have air conditioning.
Blah. Blah. Baa humbug.
But I started to flip through the All Year Long Project Lifeβ’ accessory kit by Stampinβ Up! Then, I found βthe item.βΒ A silver foiled card, which was saying exactly what I wanted to say. βBecause when you stop and look around this life is pretty amazing.βΒ The inspiration.Β This was it.
I placed a picture and a couple pieces of scrap paper behind it, as well as βthe card.βΒ It looked too plain so I altered the 3×4 card with the sewing machine.
β¦ still not done.Β Too clean. Too easy.
I have a dish of current Stampinβ Up! βleftoversβ on my crafting table. I began to just throw bits and bobs on the page. I threw a bag of sequins and die cuts from the Watercolour Wishes card kit that I showed you a couple months ago.
I stapled and glued.

Isnβt it amazing what one Project Lifeβ’ card can do?
What gets you inspired when no amount of humidity guard hairspray can help you?
