That’s a wrap!! The Great Canadian Scrapbooking Carnivals are done for another wonderful year. For those of you that attended, I hope I got to meet you, greet you & or hug you. I know you ALL had an amazing time as the smiles were countless and the laughter sometimes deafening! I know you did some GREAT stamping and paper crafting because I saw the floor after you were all done !!! For those of you who did not make it …. MAKE IT  NEXT YEAR!! You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. For myself, I was busy sharing ideas and fun stamping & inking techniques the whole weekend, through classes and demos.  I demo in the Creative Scrapbooking Magazine booth of course and while I “play”, I am blessed to spend time with amazing paper crafters who simply love to take a stamp to paper, creating cards, scrapbook pages, art journals and more. In the booth I was demoing stamping and stencilling techniques, working on the Cathie Allan, Position-it2. This wonderful, repositioner / positioner / aligner is a tool that embraces all types of stamps! It loves wood handled stamps, cling stamps and clear stamps AND it can be used with all sizes of paper … from ½ inch to 12 inch and more …. YES, I am an “inch baby” J! It comes with an “attached” clear handle for your cling and clear stamps AND THE BOARD IS HEAT RESISTANT!! ANOTHER YES!! I am using my heat gun and trusty iron on my board. I use them “gently” and I do place a buffer of a piece of  heat resistant, non stick crafting sheet between my project and the board as extra protection. This allows me to take my stamping to an entire new level. Here are photos from the event.
