Seriously! Have you tried foiling yet? I did! I LOVE it…

Makes me think of changing the words to Kate Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” song…sing with me!

I tried to foil… and I liked it!

I think you should try it too, but we’ll let Kate stick to song writing! LOL!

Check out these SIMPLE foiled cards!

Cardmaking using Thermoweb / Gina K by Thermoweb / Add some shimmer to your next project
These are the three cards I made during my first attempt at using Therm o web and Gina K. Designs by Thermoweb products. The whole process was easier than I expected! You can see where the light is hitting from a different angle revealing the shimmer!

Now, I’ll share some eye candy and explain a bit of what’s going on in each photo. Hope you enjoy!

Theromweb foils and adhesives / Gina K foils and toner sheets / Cardmaking and foil with Kim Gowdy
The Gina K. Design Fancy Foils have 12 Sheets per package and the iCraft Deco Foil contains 5 sheets, which is lots for multiple projects. The adhesives were great to work with, I LOVE the Mixed-Media Adhesive! OK…check out how GORGEOUS the negative image is…USE this too, it will make you swoon!
Thermoweb supplies / cardstock, adhesives, Gina K dies and foil mates
The products available through Therm o web are endless and wonderful! Cardstock, foils, dies, adhesive…the want list is LONG! LOL!
Simple foiling card / Thinking of You / cardmaking with Thermoweb and Gina K
My first card using the foiling products was fun! I couldn’t wait t do more!
Thinking of You card / Cardmaking with Thermoweb foils / Gina K Designer Toner Sheets, Foil Mates and foil
Foil Mates and Designer Toner Sheets play together so well. The toner sheets are transparent-the possibilities are endless! I added some gold dotted wash tape and twine to my card to finish it off. OH SO SIMPLE!
Add simmer to your cardmaking / Thermoweb and Gina K / Imagine card by Kim Gowdy
My imagine card came together easily, I tried to capture the shimmer on camera for you to see. I used an old wood die cut word from my stash inked up with Distress Oxide ink -‘peacock feathers’ as my sentiment.
Simple foil layers / cardmaking with Thermoweb and Gina K / Imagine card by Kim Gowdy
Some of the supplies used for my imagine card. After you remove the foil from the Designer Toner Sheet, it leaves behind this wonderful negative, which I adhered to black cardstock to use under my Imagine word. The white, pearl nature of this foil was hard to photograph so check out the turquoise negative I shared above in another photo. SIMPLE LAYERS!
Birthday card by Kim Gowdy / Thermoweb and Gina K / Add the shimmer of foil to your projects
How FUN is this sentiment! Therm o web‘s foam adhesive ROCKED for my cake embellishment!
Birthday card using Gina K by Thermoweb / Foam adhesive for your stamping and die cutting fun
Here are many of the product used for my Break Out the Cake card. Foam Adhesive ROCKS!!! I cut out my stamped images with the dies and then did the same with the foam adhesive…stuck them together and VOILA…a FAB dimensional embellishment! I used Distress Oxide inks for my stamping!

Thanks for joining me on my foil initiation. It’s super fun and honestly easy! Give it a try and share your projects with us!
