Call me crazy but I love a cute punch.
Punches are easy.
I don’t have to move much.
And it’s effective.
So when a stamp set and a punch as cute as this gets released from Stampin’ Up!, it’s first on my list.
Here I am introducing…. the Little Elephant Bundle.
#socuteThis cutie was sitting in my craft room for almost a month before I took the plastic off. It was about time to get this stamp set dirty!
When I first approached these projects using the Little Elephant stamp set and punch, I started with the stacking technique. It seems to be the thing to do with little critters and animals these days. And I can understand why… it’s easy and of course, ridiculously adorable.
A quick hint is to try stamping off the ink on this elephant stamp, in order to see the patterns on the solid image. Right away this stamp set screams “baby”!
And it sure does the job quite well.
But you can use this for other occasions like a birthday as well as a thank you card. On my last project with this stamp set, I chose to create a watercolour background with Pacific Point Refill Ink and an aqua painter or water brush. It’s a simple technique and it’s a great way to ground your images. Try it!! How cute are the adult and baby elephant together? I love how the Elephant punch has both sizes of the elephant. As always, feel free to share your projects with Creative Scrapbooker Magazine and me!
