Hello Creative Scrapbookers!
We have a treat for you today! The first Where You Create blog post in a long time!
We had a busy end to 2018 and start to 2019! Not only are the winter months busy blog months with so many holidays, Creativation and give-aways but for many they are not months that allow for great indoor photos as it can be so dark! Our submissions of your creative spaces drop off in those months. We are back with a few ready to share and sure hope you take advantage of these brighter months to snap a few photos and send them to us!
Today, let’s take a peek into Tammy Hawes lovely space, this bright room is well organized and would be the perfect place to create for hours at a time! Here’s what Tammy shared about her space:
“I have been a scrapbooker for 20 years and my room has definitely changed and grown over the years. When I started out 20 years ago, everything that I owned for scrapbooking could actually fit in one or two bags that I stored in a closet. Now 20 years later I have an entire room dedicated to my crafting passion. I am definitely figuring out what works for me and what does not. I know that I like to have things tidy and organized by colour. My love for this hobby has not changed over the years. It has just grown like my scrapbooking stash.”

Hobbies evolve when one calls to you. Many of us long time scrapbookers understand how our supplies grow with the passion. Where ever you are on your paper crafting journey is PERFECT! Share with us! We want to see where you create and how you organize that space. Big or small is exactly where you are meant to be!

Thanks for sharing my space Kim! ♥️
Congrats, Tammy! Lovely room. One day I will have to make it over the scrapbook in your dream room. LOL!
Love your space. I have the Ikea Killax units as well. I see you have an organizer for the 12 x 12 paper that is horizontal. Where did you get that?
I have been lucky enough to spend time with Tammy in her beautifully organized Scrapbooking Room. She creates the most beautiful cards & albums. I think she would make an amazing addition to your creative staff.

What a great space! I like seeing how others store, organize, and set-up their spaces.
Thanks for sharing your creative space with us, Tammy. I love your cabinets with a sink! I have a dedicated craft room, but mine is a mess. We moved last year and all my metal cabinets wouldn’t fit up the stairs at my new house. We had to leave them in the garage. There went all my storage. I am left with some old book shelves that we my kids. I am still trying to figure out how to organize it. I get overwhelmed and stop. I still craft but it is hard to not be organized. That’s for the inspiration. I needed it!
Your space looks so great, Tammy! I love all of the designated areas. Sunflowers are my favourite, too!
Beautiful tidy organized space. Love that you have your sewing machine area as well. Keep smiling and creating.
