Hehe! Kim Gowdy here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog. Today I am sharing a layout inspired by the March Sketchy Challenge in April! Although the sketches never have an expiry date, I feel, as part of the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine design team, I should be a little less tardy! Just another example of “real life” getting in the way of scrappy expectations!sketchy-challenge-sketch-march My layout is not at all complicated and did not stray too far from the original March Sketchy Challenge. Most of my papers and elements are from Simple Stories ~ So Happy Together collection. I did cut an Ali Edwards tag to use as my journaling block.simple-stories-happy-together-sketch

I added some little dimensional elements with Wendy Vecchi Enamel Accents and stylus from Ranger. Wendy Vecchi Enamel My journaling is done using Kelly Creates fineliner and I found a very old stamp in my stash for adding the month to my journaling block.simple-stories-happy-together-sketch-ranger-liquid-pearls

Take your mind off current events, grab a sketch & photos and add some creative play to your day!
