Hello Creative Scrapbookers! Jayme Loge here with a glimpse of what is on my scrapbook table. I am going to share a layout with you that documents these Covid times as we are experiencing it. Everything changed so quickly- life was its usual busy self and then it was pared back to just the essentials. Although there are many stresses and trials while living with this virus, there have been many gifts too. I am enjoying the calm and the refocus of what really matters to me. I spent so much time in my pre-covid life just running from task to task that I was not really present for much of it. I lived all those activities but didn’t really experience them. Now, just the simple act of getting groceries is more intent-full, fully felt and a delightful part of my week. I am loving that!
I attempted to capture some of the things that I have been doing to pass the time these last few months. As one of the people whose jobs were put on hold in the fight against the virus, my craft spending has also been put on hold. But, like a squirrel storing nuts, I still have lots of options around; it was an archaeological excavation extraordinaire to find what I needed within my stash and I loved it! Here is my flip-book (of sorts) layout. Supplies used: Wild Whisper patterned paper, embellishments; Heidi Swapp embellishments; American Crafts Thickers; Stampin’ Up! punch; Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink Spray
There is a little peek at my current life and ways I am filling my time. How about you? Are you finding blessings amongst the challenges?
