Stampers Anonymous Life of the Party / Ranger inks / Halloween Card by Kim GowdyHappy Fall Creative Scrapbookers! Does the change of season excite you? I LOVE it! I just wish winter didnโ€™t follow so quickly! This time of year always gets me thinking about Halloween. I get energized from the decorations, costumes, candy and of course Halloween themed scrapbooking and cardmaking products!

My card share started with pulling these Stampers Anonymous sets from my stash ~ I love the both!Stampers Anonymous Life of the Party / Ranger inks / Halloween Card by Kim Gowdy

I pulled out all kinds or Ranger Inks and got started with my plan!Ranger inks / Halloween Card by Kim Gowdy

I stamped my web image onto a piece of Creative Scrapbooker Superstock and embossed with Speckled Egg Embossing Glaze. This gave me a FABULOUS image to resist the Distress Oxide Inks I would be using to create my background.Stampers Anonymous Life of the Party / Ranger inks / Halloween Card by Kim Gowdy

I added several layers of the grungy stamp to the edges with all the colours from the background and also spritzed with water.

Using black Archival Ink, I stamped the skull image where I wanted the final placement, itโ€™s OKAY to overlap the images, this will be a guide for the final placement.

I stamped the skulls again on a white mixed media paper, you could also use computer paper. I fussy cut the skulls, just inside the outside lines and adhere them to my card using a Ranger Glue Stick. The final step was to outline with a black Dylusions Paint Pen. This technique results with a very defined image on the background.

The bows were stamped and cut from Super Stock and adhered with a rolled up Glue Dots to add some dimension! I coloured in a few teeth on the one skull for added interest, it makes it look like a separate stamp!Stampers Anonymous Life of the Party / Ranger inks / Halloween Card by Kim Gowdy

Iโ€™m not sure what a COVID Halloween will look like, but I am certain this card will bring a smile to someoneโ€™s day. Is this the year you make Halloween cards? I sure think you should!

  1. These stamps are some of my favourites too! Love that you incorporated the embossing glaze for the webs, they create the perfect amount of glossy texture! โœจโค๏ธโœจ
