Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans! For today’s blogpost, I’m sharing with you my Hello Dear Friend Card. To create my card, I’ve used the Hello Autumn Collection from Carta Bella Paper Co. Creative Scrapbooker Super Stock Cardstock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine, Dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs
Ink from Ranger Ink and adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.
You’ll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my card at home.
To start, you’ll need the black plaid pattern paper out of the Hello Autumn Paper Pack from Carta Bella. Die cut the 4” Stitched Indented Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the paper. Die cut the 1 ½” Diagonal Stitched Fishtail from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the same patterned paper. Distress the edges of the rectangle and fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail and rectangle using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink.
Next, you’ll need the white floral pattern paper out of the Hello Autumn Paper Pack from Carta Bella. Die cut the 3 ¾” Fitted Indented Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the paper. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink.
Now, you’ll need the leaves pattern paper out of the Hello Autumn Paper Pack from Carta Bella. Die cut the 3 ½” Stitched Indented Rectangle from Elizabeth Craft Designs out of the paper. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink.
Next, you’ll need the orange with white x’s pattern paper out of the Hello Autumn Paper Pack from Carta Bella. Cut a piece that measures 2 5/8” x 3 7/8”. Distress the edges of the paper. Ink the edges of the paper using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink.
Next, you’ll need the 3×4 Journaling Card pattern paper out of the Hello Autumn Paper Pack from Carta Bella. Cut the I Love Fall Card out of the paper. Distress the edges of the card. Ink the edges of the card using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink.
Now, you’ll need the mixed leaves pattern paper out of the Hello Autumn Paper Pack from Carta Bella. Fussy cut eleven leaves and two acorns out of the paper. Ink the edges of the leaves and acorns using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink.
Out of the Hello Autumn Ephemera from Carta Bella, you’ll need the Hello Dear Friend strip. Cut the hello dear friend strip into three strips. Ink the edges of the strips using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink.
Using E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 3 ¾” rectangle to the 4” rectangle. Adhere the 3 ½” rectangle to the 3 ¾” rectangle.
Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the 1 ½” fishtail to the top middle of the 3 ½” rectangle. Adhere the I love fall card to the orange with white x’s piece. Use 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the white x’s piece to the middle of the 3 ½” rectangle.
On the top right side of the orange with white x’s, use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere five leaves and one acorn as desired.
On the bottom left side of the orange with white x’s, use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere six leaves and one acorn as desired.
Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the hello dear friend strips to the I love Fall card, making sure that the friend strip covers the I love fall words.
To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of Superstock Cardstock from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine that measures 4” x 10 ½”, score at 5 ¼”. Use E-Z Runner from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

A gorgeous card for a dear friend, I really love the Elizabeth Craft Designs dies and how versatile they can be in so many different projects.
