It’s happening.
We are less than 8 weeks away.
Never before have I been as excited for Christmas as I am this year. My family is supposed to be in Florida but of course, that’s not happening. We are hunkering down in Newfoundland to enjoy the holidays with friends and family. We are so lucky to have most of our family nearby and it breaks my heart to think about others that may not be with their family this year.
With Halloween behind me, I am going full tilt into the holiday spirit including making Christmas cards!

Stampin’ Up! released the Merry Moose bundle in the holiday catalogue last year. Since those majestic animals can be found in abundance in Newfoundland, they have a soft spot in my heart. With a short hiatus, he’s back in stock and I was ready to see if I could bring him back to life! I have become obsessed with Stampin’ Up’s new Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper. The patterns are amazing and seem to tie in nicely to the “stay home” Holiday Season we are likely to have. However, it’s the sentiment page that I find the most practical! On this card “Dashing Through The Snow” is simply a piece of cut out from paper rather than a stamped verse. This is awesome for lots of reasons especially if your supply is limited. I can’t wait to find more time to get back into the craft room as I start to begin creating for Christmas and the upcoming holidays!
